Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) is the state's leading organization for educators with a passion for effectively integrating technology in education.
MassCUE was founded in 1982 by 15 technology-inspired educators meeting regularly in a local school library. Five decades later, MassCUE now proudly supports over 600 active members, 17 Corporate Partners, and over 150+ corporate members. MassCUE is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and is supported by paid staff members working in coalition with a network of 12 specialized committees. MassCUE proudly represents Massachusetts as the state affiliate for the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).
Vision & Mission
MassCUE is a community where every learner creates, contributes, and succeeds in a connected world. Our mission is to educate, connect, and inspire the educational community by:
- Providing high-quality professional learning
- Leveraging knowledge and expertise
- Recognizing innovation, excellence, and courage
- Advocating for strategic policies and programs
MassCUE Leads Through Our Motto
EDUCATE | CONNECT | INSPIRE
MassCUE brings together board members, staff, and committees to host a number of events and programs focused on digital learning and teaching. Annually, MassCUE hosts their premier Fall Conference at Gillette Stadium alongside smaller conferences. These conferences focus on equipping not only districts and educators with the necessary tools to bring success with digital learning, but also highlights companies and partners that have effective tools, products, and services for key stakeholders in K-12 education. Alongside these conferences, MassCUE offers intimate professional development opportunities ranging from Grad credits for teachers to specialized PD for districts.
MassCUE fosters collaboration and community connections in physical and virtual spaces. These opportunities include: large-scale conferences, district or school-wide professional development, small-group learning programs, and intimate networking events. We partner with organizations throughout New England to progress shared objectives and outcomes. MassCUE is the proud state affiliate of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).
MassCUE recognizes innovation, excellence, and courage through awards, grants, scholarships and publicity. MassCUE advocates for strategic policies and programs through multiple channels; such as, our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and various committees.
