MassCUE is governed by a team of passionate volunteers who drive the organization’s mission to Educate, Connect, and Inspire educators across the commonwealth.
The MassCUE Board of Directors is made up of educators with a strong interest in digital teaching and learning. This group of volunteers brings a variety of skills and expertise to MassCUE and plays a key role in the organization’s strategic direction. They are innovators, thought leaders and community connectors. Above all, they are committed to MassCUE’s mission to educate, connect, and inspire educators across the commonwealth.

Tracy Sockalosky
PRESIDENT, ELECTED, 2025-2026Tracy is the Director of Humanities K-12 for the Newton Public Schools.
Tracy is a past member of the MassCue Board of Directors and has been presenting at the annual conference since 2012. She has also presented for EdTech Teacher, Massachusetts Teachers Association, Learn Launch and several school districts in the region.

VICE PRESIDENT, ELECTED 2025-2026Andrew Marcinek brings over 15 years of leadership in educational technology and digital learning to the MassCUE Board of Directors. BOARD MEMBER, APPOINTED, 2025-2027Bernardo Feliciano is co-founder of the AITeach Co-design Lab at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where he also serves as adjunct faculty in the School of Education. He recently completed his Ph.D. in Research and Evaluation in Education at UMass Lowell, with research focused on how schools integrate computer science, digital literacy, and emerging technologies into everyday teaching and learning.
His work centers on change management and collaboration—how teachers, school leaders, and partners organize schedules, staffing, and curriculum so that computer science and digital literacy become a sustainable part of every student’s experience. He brings more than two decades of experience as a middle school teacher, technology coordinator, non-profit professional, and professional learning designer, including multi-year CS professional development through the NSF-funded CS Pathways partnership, and serves on advisory boards for the Tsongas Industrial History Center and the UMass Lowell School of Education, as well as on the MassCUE Board of Directors.
Greg Limperis
BOARD MEMBER, ELECTED, 2025-2027With a proven track record of leadership in educational technology, Greg is committed to advocating for the effective integration of technology in education. His qualifications include Professional development of educators in the proper use of educational technology to help improve teaching and learning. Melissa is committed to fostering creativity and problem-solving in her students while empowering them to understand the world around them and become the innovators who shape a better future. Her influence extends beyond the classroom as she delivers DLCS and Edtech training to teachers at conferences nationwide, serves as the technology and resource coordinator for the CSforAll Springfield grant, facilitator for CSforMA, co authored the DLCS curriculum guide book for MA, and is Co President of CSTA Massachusetts chapter. She was honored with the PAEMST in 2018 and the CS Teaching Excellence Award in 2023, recognizing her passion and dedication to teaching computer science to elementary students.

Prior to joining FullScale, she completed a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Rhode Island, where she worked on a project funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Ready to Learn Initiative, and served as the Digital Equity and Rural Project Director at the Consortium of School Networking (CoSN). Beth also worked for six years as an instructor with EdTechTeacher, where she designed and implemented professional development workshops and blended learning courses with K-12 educators and leaders across the country and abroad. In addition, she served as the Director of Academic Technology at St. Michael’s Country Day School in Newport, RI. From these experiences, she brings both a rigorous academic background and classroom experience to the team’s research and policy efforts.
Beth is also a prolific author and public speaker. She has previously published regular columns for Getting Smart and EdWeek and has had her work featured on Edutopia, MindShift, and EdSurge, as well as in scholarly journals. She holds an Ed.D. in Entrepreneurial Leadership in Education from Johns Hopkins University, an Ed.M. in Technology, Innovation, and Education from Harvard University, as well as a B.S. in Communications from Northwestern University.
Jared Perrine

Tony Wagner
ADVISOR TO THE BOARDA globally recognized voice in education, Tony Wagner currently serves as a Senior Research Fellow at the Learning Policy Institute, founded by Linda Darling-Hammond in 2015. Prior to this appointment, Tony held a variety of positions at Harvard University for more than twenty years, including four years as an Expert in Residence at the Harvard Innovation Lab and the founder and co-director, for more than a decade, of the Change Leadership Group at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. His previous work experience includes twelve years as a high school teacher, K-8 principal, university professor in teacher education, and founding executive director of Educators for Social Responsibility.
Tony is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and a widely published author. His work includes numerous articles and eight books. Creating Innovators: The Making of Young People Who Will Change The World, was published in 2012 and has been translated into 19 languages. His 2008 book, The Global Achievement Gap continues to be an international best seller, with more than 150,000 copies in print. Tony’s memoir, Learning By Heart: An Unconventional Education, was published by Penguin/Random House in 2020. His latest book, Mastery: Why Deeper Learning is Essential in an Age of Distraction, will be published by Basic Books in September 2025.
Tony served as the Strategic Education Advisor for a major education documentary, “Most Likely to Succeed,” which had its world premiere at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival and has since been shown in more than 15,000 communities around the world. He also collaborated with noted filmmaker Robert Compton to create a 60 minute documentary, “The Finland Phenomenon: Inside The World’s Most Surprising School System.” Tony has served on the board of several nonprofits, including the Mastery Transcript Consortium and Better World Ed.
Tony earned an M.A.T. and an Ed.D. at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

He served on the Natick AI Advisory Council, where he helped develop responsible AI policy and integration strategies for public schools. Kabir is also the Founder and President of ServeMA, a nonprofit dedicated to fostering youth involvement in community service across Massachusetts. His work centers on bridging technology, ethics, and social impact to create innovative, student-driven solutions that strengthen local communities.
