Tales from EdCamp Worcester

EdCamp Worcester SessionOn October 19th over 200 educators and students from around Central Massachusetts gathered at Worcester Technical High School for Edcamp Worcester 2019.  Wow what a success it was! It was a great day of learning and collaboration. Workshops focussed on making connections, collaboration, group expertise and tech tools.  Over 30 students even volunteered to help make the day a success.

EdCamp AttendeesThe Superintendent of the Worcester Public Schools kicked off the day with a very inspirational speech.  She was amazed that so many educators and students would come out on a Saturday to learn together. The day would not have been possible without the amazing sponsorships from organizations such as MassCUE, the EAW, BrainPOP, Discovery Education, WGBH, PBS, WEDF, Spoodles Deli, Joe’s Album’s, Woosta Pizza, the Boynton Restaurant and the Edcamp Foundation.  You can see some pictures and videos of the day by visiting our official site, Edcamp Worcester.

This was truly a one of a kind experience for Worcester and Central Massachusetts.  We are so excited with the success of the event, we have already started planning for next year.  Thank you so much MassCUE for sponsoring and promoting this amazing event. We could not have done this without you.
