MassCUE sent two representatives to Ed Tech Advoca MassCUE sent two representatives to Ed Tech Advocacy Day 2026 in Washington, D.C. today, April 30, 2026.

Board members Corey Mello and Kendyl Brooks Santos joined Jim Flanagan, Executive Director of METAA, and METAA board member John Collins to meet with Members of Congress and national education leaders — championing priorities that matter most to Massachusetts educators and students.

Highlights included a meeting with Congressman Bill Keating, discussing how federal policy can better support technology-enabled learning in Massachusetts.

From E-Rate and digital equity to AI in education, student data privacy, and cybersecurity, our voices were part of a national conversation about the future of learning.

Grateful for the opportunity to advocate alongside colleagues from CoSN, SETDA, SIIA, and ISTE. Our students and educators deserve nothing less.

ESports educators: your program is doing something ESports educators: your program is doing something that a lot of schools are still trying to figure out — keeping students genuinely engaged.

We want to hear how you're using ESports to:
 - Build teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking
 - Create belonging and community for students who struggled to find it elsewhere
 - Develop career and college readiness skills through competitive play
 - Connect gaming culture to classroom learning and student engagement
 - Build and sustain an ESports program at the school or district level
 - Integrate game-based learning into any subject area

This is one of the most exciting — and most underrepresented — tracks at MassCUE. If you've built something that works, we want you on our stage.
