MassCUE Welcomes Grace Magley as New Executive Director
The Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) Board of Directors is proud to announce the appointment of Grace Magley as the organization’s new Executive Director. She begins her tenure on July 1, 2025.
With over 35 years of experience in information technology, instructional technology, and digital learning, Magley brings a deep expertise, passion and commitment to supporting educators through innovation and practical solutions that enhance teaching and learning. As a seasoned technology leader, both in the corporate world and in the classroom, she is well-positioned to bring MassCUE into its next chapter.
“Grace’s leadership and dedication to meaningful innovation and impactful integration make her the ideal leader for MassCUE at this pivotal moment,” said Leo Brehm, President of the MassCUE Board of Directors. “Her experience, collaborative spirit, and dedication to professional learning will serve our members and the edtech community well as we navigate the evolving education landscape.”
Magley began her career in IT and technical training before entering into K–12 education. She served as the Educational Technology Director for Millis Public Schools for 15 years, where she implemented the district’s first network, classroom computers, and a pioneering 1:1 iPad program for middle school students in 2011.
For the past 12 years, she has been the Director of Digital Learning for Natick Public Schools, leading transformational initiatives in blended and online learning, project-based learning, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
Her professional development programs have made a lasting impact across Massachusetts, equipping educators with the tools and knowledge to personalize learning and effectively integrate technology into their classrooms.
As she steps into retirement from public education, Grace is thrilled to begin her new chapter as Executive Director of MassCUE. She is deeply aligned with MassCUE’s mission to Educate, Connect, and Inspire educators and stakeholders across the Northeast.
“In this exciting new era shaped by artificial intelligence, MassCUE’s role is more vital than ever,” Magley said. “We have an opportunity—and a responsibility—to guide educators in harnessing AI tools to support teaching and learning, while collaboratively addressing the challenges and ethical implications they bring.”
Magley’s appointment signals MassCUE’s continued commitment to leadership, learning, and innovation for all educators.
