Celebrating the educators transforming learning in Massachusetts

Every day, educators across the Commonwealth are doing remarkable things with technology. They are reimagining how students learn, creating conditions for curiosity, and proving that innovation belongs in every classroom.

The MassCUE Featured Educator program exists to find those educators, lift up their stories, and share what they know with a community of peers who are on the same journey. Because when one educator grows, we all do.

WHAT IS THE PROGRAM?

More than a spotlight. An edtech community.

Each month, MassCUE recognizes one exceptional educator whose work reflects our mission: to transform teaching and learning through technology. Featured Educators are not just acknowledged. They are welcomed into a community, given tools to amplify their voice, and supported as they grow their professional reach.

From a podcast feature to Fall Conference recognition to presenting and professional development opportunities, the program is designed to give Featured Educators the platform they deserve and the community they need to keep doing their best work and inspire others.

WHY NOMINATE SOMEONE?

You probably know someone who deserves this.

Think about the educator in your building or district who is trying something new, inspiring their colleagues, and putting students first. The one who stays curious even when it is hard. The one whose classroom others want to visit. That is exactly who this program is for.

Nominating someone takes just a few minutes. What it means to them can last much longer. Here is why it matters:

The MassCUE community spans districts across Massachusetts. Featured Educators get the chance to share their innovations with thousands of peers who can learn from and build on their work.

You do not need permission to celebrate someone

Nominations can come from anyone — a colleague, a department head, an administrator, even a fellow MassCUE member. If you see it, say it.

Storytelling is part of our mission.

MassCUE believes that community is a powerful lever for change in education. When educators see themselves reflected in the work of their peers, something shifts. Possibility becomes visible.

The Featured Educator program is how we put that belief into practice. By highlighting real educators doing real work in Massachusetts classrooms, we make the case that technology integration is not just for the early adopters or the well-resourced. It is for everyone. And the people leading the way are already in your community.

We highlight educators because the best professional development is not always a workshop. Sometimes it is a story.
