Tangible, Hands-on Programming

Learning Tour Overview

Through the use of Lego Wedo Kits, Makey Makey Kits and BeeBots, participants will observe students as they move from passive users of technology to dynamic creators using concrete, tangible objects. Students will build, code, and collaborate and will be engaged in hands-on, interactive activities that build upon their critical thinking, imagination, and creativity.

The goal for this visit is to give participants an understanding of what students are capable of at a young age. This tour will demonstrate what it looks like for students to take charge of their learning.
