MassCUE’s Googlepalooza event is a full day of G Suite for Education (formerly Google Apps for Education) hands-on workshops taught by experienced Google Certified Trainers and Educators to promote better learning in the classroom. Participants will have a choice between presentations at varied ability levels – all covering a wide variety of G Suite tools, devices (Chromebooks, iPads, Android Tablets), teaching strategies, and implementation.  All of this learning for just $65 (fee includes lunch.)

Erin Fisher

Erin Fisher

Erin is the Technology Integration Facilitator, PreK-12, for the East Bridgewater Public Schools. This is her 16th year in education, and 3rd year in this position. She lives in Bridgewater with her husband Scott, and three little boys. In her spare time she blogs at www.fishinonamission.com, is a Google Certified Trainer, and teaches two graduate courses on Technology Integration though  PCEA/Worcester State  Follow her on Twitter @MrsErinFisher[/paragraph]

 

Erin Foley

Erin is the Digital Literacy Specialist at Hanover Middle School in Hanover, MA, and is a Google for Education Certified Trainer. She has 12 years of experience as a classroom teacher with 9 of those years specifically in the field of instructional technology. Erin is a member of the Hanover Public Schools Technology Committee and believes that technology is a powerful tool in transforming the learning environment to meet the academic needs and interests of students. Erin has presented at conferences including the MassCUE 2018 Fall Conference and the MassCUE Datapalooza 2019. She was also named as a PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovator in 2016. 

 

Brandon Hall

Brandon is the District Technology Integrator for the Pembroke Public Schools. Prior to his current role, he was a high school social studies teacher for 15 years in Pembroke. Brandon has a BA in History and Education from Stonehill College, a Med from UMass Boston, and a post-graduate certificate from The George Washington University in Educational Technology. He provides on-going professional development and support for teachers in Pembroke as well as at various conferences such as MassCUE. Brandon is a member of the Southeast, Cape and Islands Technology Administrators group, a Google Certified Trainer, and an Apple Certified Teacher. Jennifer Judkins

Jennifer is the Director of Digital Learning for the Lexington Public Schools district. Jenn is a Google for Education Certified Trainer, 2016 MassCUE Pathfinder recipient & was awarded the 2015 PBS Lead Digital Innovator. She provides professional development in her home district and schools throughout MA. Jenn curates useful technology resources, tip sheets and integration ideas for educators on her blog, www.teachingforward.net and is a regular contributer on the TechEducator Podcast. Jonathan Schmid

Jonathan is the Director of Innovation & Technology at The Meadowbrook School of Weston, Massachusetts, which was recently recognized as an exemplar school by the Partnership for 21st Century Learning. He has presented at numerous conferences such as ISTE, NAIS, MASSCUE, and AISNE on subjects including Digital Citizenship, Design Thinking, 3D Printing and Making. Jonathan is a certified Google Education Trainer and Certified Google Administrator. He can be found online at tech.savvyteachers.com and on Twitter @schmidjon.

Colleen Terrill

Colleen is currently the Director of Instructional Technology for Mashpee Public Schools after being a 6th grade teacher for 15 years. She provides ongoing professional development for teachers in her district where she focuses on the importance of balance between technology and curriculum. Colleen is a regular presenter at regional and national conferences such as MassCUE, ACTEM, Christa McAuliffe Technology Conference, CoSN and ISTE. She was a Keynote Panel Presenter for the New England 1:1 Summit. She is also an Associate Professor through the Extended Campus Program at Fitchburg State University where she teaches Explicit Instruction as well as Technology Integration in the Classroom. She is currently pursuing her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership from Curry College.

 

Karen Winsper

Karen is a veteran Massachusetts educator who began her career in the Dartmouth Public Schools as an elementary and middle school classroom teacher and then moved to the Plymouth Public Schools to work as a technology integration specialist. Since joining the Norton Public Schools in 2014, Karen has revitalized a technology program that was stagnant for many years. She is a Level 2 Google Certified Educator and a proud member of the MassCUE Communications Committee, Southeast, Cape & Islands Technology Administrators SIG, Delta Kappa Gamma, and Edcamp SEMass Founding Team Member. She received the MassCUE Pathfinder award in 2016. Karen presents at local and regional conferences and has been an adjunct instructor through AIC.

We are looking for three (3) sponsors for this one-day event at $750 each. Sponsorships are available on a first come, first serve basis.
