PD Partners are for-profit professional development organizations that collaborate with MassCUE to expand high-quality learning opportunities for educators, leaders, schools and districts across Massachusetts. Unlike Affiliates (non-profit peer organizations) or Corporate Partners (vendors who receive marketing and other benefits in exchange for sponsorship), PD Partners enter into a mutual promotional and programmatic relationship with MassCUE.
Key Characteristics of PD Partners
- Collaboration & Promotion
MassCUE and the PD Partner agree to promote each other’s organizations, programs, and events, helping to expand awareness and impact. - Joint Professional Development Offerings
PD Partners may work with MassCUE to co-design and/or deliver professional development opportunities for schools and districts, including areas such as leadership development, coaching/mentoring, and educator upskilling. - Framework for Engagement
Each PD Partner signs a general Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with MassCUE to formalize the partnership and be recognized on the MassCUE website. Specific contracts or agreements will then be created as needed for particular PD programs or initiatives. Agreements will be reviewed by MassCUE lawyers and approved by the MassCUE board of directors - Alignment with MassCUE’s Mission
Partnerships must align with MassCUE’s mission to Educate, Connect, Inspire and provide meaningful, impactful opportunities for K–12 educators and leaders. - Alignment with MA DESE and Office of Educational Technology
