About the Program

MassCUE Learning Tours are an opportunity for educators to experience innovative, best practices to enhance teaching and learning while using digital learning tools.

Districts who are implementing best practices will have the opportunity to showcase their programs and districts that are investigating how to start and implement a similar initiative or practice will have the opportunity to visit the host district.

Feedback from the Sharon Makerspace Learning Tour

“Compliments to Cathy Collins and John Marcus for planning and hosting the Learning Tour Visit: Library Makerspaces, in collaboration with MassCUE on Sept. 13 at the Sharon High School Library. This workshop covered every detail for planning, funding, grant writing and purchasing a Makerspace and continued with the implementation process: location, materials, displays, student help, and more. I came away with a very clear idea of what I need to do to get my library and my community to embrace and fund a Makerspace and how to put it to work. The workshop culminated in visits to both elementary and middle school Makerspaces. Thank you!”
