The Shelley Chamberlain Community Service Award is awarded annually at the MassCUE Fall Conference by the MassCUE Board of Directors to a deserving member of the MassCUE Community who has exemplified the qualities of servant leadership in their school or organizational community. These qualities include:

• Strong interpersonal leadership skills
• An emphasis on “the other” rather than “self”
• The ability to articulate and develop a strong vision to support a school/community
• Clear evidence of impact the work of the leader has had on the school/community
