Keeping Students and Families STEM-spired

By clearly identifying goals and assets, Elementary STEM Integration Specialist Heidi MacGregor shares a framework by which she developed four STEAM-related activities for parents and students in light of the restrictions and challenges presented by the pandemic.

Heidi MacGregor is the K-5 STEM Integration Specialist for Littleton Public Schools in Littleton, Massachusetts. Prior to this position, she taught 4th grade for 10 years at Russell Street Elementary School. Heidi is a MakerSpace and Global Education enthusiast and is always looking for new and exciting ways to amplify student voice. She serves on the MassCUE Board of Directors, the MassCUE Influence and Advocacy Committee and is the leader of the MassCUE MakerSpace SIG. In addition, she is a co-founder of the Middlesex Scratch Meetups. Heidi earned her M.Ed. from Lesley University, a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Technology Proficiency at Framingham State University and is currently pursuing ISTE Certification.
