Eddie Chen is a District Technology Coach for the Worcester Public Schools. Prior to this position, he taught 7th grade science for 4 years at Worcester East Middle School. Eddie is passionate about bringing citizen science and experiential learning into the classroom. Similarly, he strives to integrate technology use to enhance learning and remove barriers to increasing science literacy. His background in community organizing with environmental nonprofits influences his work supporting caregiver and educators through data informed decision making.
Eddie earned his undergraduate degrees from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and a Masters of Arts in Teaching at Clark University.
He is an avid native plant gardener and naturalist.
