Beth Barra is a fourth grade ELA + Social Studies teacher in East Bridgewater. This is her TENTH year teaching. Her experiences have helped design her instruction with a focus on SEL to reach all types of learners. She enjoys teaching using technology, as well as building relationships both with the community + colleagues on Social Media. Christine Casali studied marine biology and environmental chemistry at Roger Williams University and earned her M. Ed. from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She is in her eleventh year teaching high school science. She has a deep love for the ocean and sustainability. She is a Google Certified Educator and encourages others to complete the training as well. She is always willing to try something new and then eager to share her learning with others. Christine’s classes learn new skills through projects, such a green screen videos,3D printed mollusk cookie cutters, and underwater ROVs. Her students also go on many field trips in to the world of virtual reality. She is also the mom three young children and wife to a firefighter. In her free time she loves to run, craft, read, and participate in Twitter Edchats. Her students would not be surprised to hear say I learned this in that book I’m reading/listening to or that Twitterchat.

Lucy Clerkin is a Library Teacher and Instructional Technology Teacher at McDevitt Middle School with 16 years of experience in school library programming and management. Lucy brings a passion for collaboration, curriculum design, and technology integration into the school library and classroom environments.
Lucy is also a New-Teacher Mentor, an active member of the Massachusetts School Library Association (MSLA), and EDCO Collaborative. She has an MS from the Library and Information Science School Library Program at Simmons College, an MS in Administration from Boston College and a BA in Communication from Boston College.
In her free time, Lucy can be found kayaking in Narragansett Bay or searching for treasures in just about any antique or consignment shop.

Kelly Doherty has taught for nearly twenty years. She currently works as the Digital Learning Teacher at Waltham High School, working with students and teachers to integrate technology into everyday lessons. Before that she was the Assistant Principal for Math and Science at GLTS. She was the Mathematics Curriculum Coordinator at Littleton High School where she also taught math, Exploring Computer Science, and Computer Science Principals. She is Computer Science Principals Master Teacher. In 2015, after attending the MassCUE Fall Conference, “Dare to Innovate”, she successfully wrote an $75,000 grant to update the library space and create an innovation center at her school. Kelly lives in Concord, MA with her husband and son. She enjoys trying new foods and traveling with her family. She also enjoys running 5Ks with her dad.

I am a computer science teacher at Sullivan Middle School in Worcester. I’ve been teaching for 11 years. I have my undergraduate from UMass in journalism and sociology and my masters from Lesley in education with a concentration in technology in ed. I am Google certified and am currently working on my ISTE certification. I am passionate about anything to do with computers, especially Google. I am also extremely into photography. I love my social media interactions and am a really big Twitter addict. I’ve been a MassCUEr for four years now and look forward to it every year. I can’t wait to go to all of the great talks and see what’s new with all of the vendors this year!

Tracy has worked for Littleton Public Schools as a Special Education Teacher for the past 9 years where she has taught at both the middle and high school. She enjoys using technology to help her students access the curriculum and also to make learning more fun and engaging for them.
