Dr. Julie A. Evans


Dr. Julie A. Evans is the Chief Executive Officer of Project Tomorrow [8] and the founder of the heralded Speak Up Research Project which annually collects and reports on the authentic views of K-12 students, parents, teachers, and administrators nationwide on key education issues. Dr. Evans serves as the chief researcher on the Speak Up Project as well as leading over 60 national research efforts on the efficacy impact of emerging learning models and interventions in both K-12 and higher education. She is a frequent facilitator, speaker and writer on the efficacy of new learning models within education, most notably around digital learning. Among her many accolades and awards, Dr. Evans was named in April 2023 as the winner of EdTech Digest’s Visionary Leader award. Dr. Evans is the author of the newly published book, Free Agent Learning: Leveraging Students’ Self-Directed Learning to Transform K-12 Education.

Greg began his 20 year career in education as a history teacher in the Plymouth Public Schools where he was recognized by the Massachusetts Council for the Social Studies with the Richard Aieta Promising Teacher Award. He then spent over a decade as a technology consultant, working with schools across the country to guide their process of transforming classroom experiences with technology. Looking to expand his understanding of school leadership, Greg was the Director of Technology in the Triton Regional Schools for over three years. With a desire to return to professional learning, he provides consulting as the Principal of The Kulowiec Group. Greg works with educators from K to Higher Education and has focused his efforts recently with helping schools navigate Generative AI. Greg is also the Strategy Consultant for Artificial Intelligence in K-12 with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Dr. Rachelle Dené Poth is an edtech consultant, presenter, attorney, author, and Spanish and STEAM: Emerging Technology teacher. Rachelle has a Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law and a Doctorate in Instructional Technology. Rachelle specializes in Artificial Intelligence, AI and the Law, Cybersecurity, and STEM. She has over seven years of experience teaching and presenting on AI in her classroom and working with educators worldwide.

Rachelle is an ISTE-certified educator and recipient of the ISTE Making IT Happen Award and presidential gold and silver awards for volunteer service. Rachelle presents regularly at conferences and provides professional development and keynotes, with a strong focus on emerging technologies.

She is the author of ten books, including her most recent books, "What the Tech? An Educator's Guide to AI, AR/VR, the Metaverse and More! and "How to Teach AI: Weaving Strategies and Activities Into Any Content Area." She is a frequent blogger for multiple publications. Kim Ramos is a Technology Instructional Coach for the North Kingstown School Department in Rhode Island, where she supports teachers and students with technology integration and leads district-wide professional development. With over 20 years of classroom experience, Kim also serves as the Mentor Program Coordinator and part-time MLL Coach. She enjoys collaborating with education professionals across New England and is a Highlander Institute Fuse Fellow, frequent presenter, award recipient, and RISTE past president.

As Director of Digital Learning and Innovation for the Nashoba Regional School District in Massachusetts, Jed aims to engage and build staff/student digital learning capacity, keeping the focus on practice over product. As a 30+ year educator, coach, speaker, author, and former Massachusetts Teach Plus Policy Fellow, Jed shares his passion for effective tech integration to transform teaching and learning, creating engaging and equitable digital learning environments and experiences that activate, innovate, and motivate digital learning. Michael B. Horn strives to create a world in which all individuals can build their passions, fulfill their potential, and live a life of purpose through his writing, speaking, and work with a portfolio of education organizations. He is the author of several books, including the national bestseller, Job Moves: 9 Steps for Making Progress in Your Career [25].

He’s also the author of From Reopen to Reinvent: (Re)creating School for Every Child; [26] the award-winning Disrupting Class: How Disruptive Innovation Will Change the Way the World Learns; [27] Blended: Using Disruptive Innovation to Improve Schools; [28] Choosing College; [29] and Goodnight Box [30], a children’s story.

Michael is the co-founder of and a distinguished fellow at the Clayton Christensen Institute for Disruptive Innovation [31], a non-profit think tank, and teaches at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He cohosts the top education podcasts Future U [32] and Class Disrupted [33]He is a regular contributor to Forbes.com [34] and writes the Substack [35] newsletter The Future of Education [35]. Michael also serves as an executive editor at Education Next [36], and his work has been featured in outlets such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, Harvard Business Review, and NBC. 

Michael serves on the board and advisory boards of a range of education organizations, including Imagine Worldwide, Minerva University, [37] and Guild Education [38].

Michael was selected as a 2014 Eisenhower Fellow [39] to study innovation in education in Vietnam and Korea, and Tech&Learning [40] magazine named him to its list of the 100 most important people in the creation and advancement of the use of technology in education. Michael holds a BA in history from Yale University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
