This session offers exciting possibilities for supporting innovative teaching and personalized education. This module provides practical techniques that any educator can use to help support their teaching. No experience with prompt engineering, or Generative AI is required. In this course participants will:
- Learn how to brainstorm lesson plans that integrate learner interests and needs.
- Generate engaging class activities.
- Think of new and innovative ways of solving problems.
- Generate personalized quizzes on the fly that students can use to test themselves on topics and incorporate their interests.
Format: Virtual Live sessions, 2 x 90 minute sessions, plus, asynchronous work.

Jen Thomas is the Professional Learning and Program Coordinator for MassCUE. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Bates College in 2000, a Master of Arts degree in Musicology from Tufts University in 2002, and a Master of Science degree in Library Science from Simmons College in 2005. A passionate technology educator, she began her career as a library media specialist and later shifted into the role of instructional technology specialist. After almost two decades working in schools, she decided it was time to give back to an organization that supported her career and is now thrilled to be part of the MassCUE team. Jen is dedicated to empowering teachers and students and has a strong interest in planning and delivering professional development in all aspects of educational technology. Jen is a Google Certified Educator, Google Certified Coach, and Google Certified Trainer. She resides in Rhode Island with her husband, Charlie, and their three children, Cooper, Noah, and Caroline.
Dr. L’Etoile, holding an Ed.D. from J&W University, brings extensive expertise in designing diverse learning solutions. Passionate about technology integration, instructional design, and ensuring online content is accessible. She is a certified Google PMP and a seasoned coach. With roles including LMS Administrator, K-12 Principal, PD Consultant, Induction Coach, and Business & Computer Educator, her impact on professional practice is substantial. Nicole resides in RI with her husband, Paul.
