PD Partner LaunchPad for Life: Advocacy & Workplace Accommodations (ADHD, Autism & More)

Monday August 17th, 2026 @ 7:30pm (ET)

Bridging self-advocacy and neuroinclusion: a free workshop on ADHD & neurodivergent accommodations for employees, HR & managers.

Asking for support at work shouldn't feel like a confession and approaching a team member you suspect needs support shouldn't feel like a guessing game or a legal minefield.

This free virtual workshop — offered in honor of Disability Pride Month — is built for both sides of that conversation: the self-advocacy to ask for what you need, and neuroinclusive lens you need to manage a neurodiverse staff.

This session gives you the language and frameworks for either seat at that table.

What you'll learn:

For self-advocacy:

  • How to tell the difference between an accommodation and a preference
  • How to ask for support without disclosing more than you're comfortable with
  • Scripts for what to say (and what not to say) when talking to your manager about ADHD or other support needs

For HR & managers:

  • How to tell a performance issue from a structural barrier
  • How to approach a team member you suspect may be neurodivergent — without assuming, diagnosing, or risking a misstep
  • How to build neuroinclusive systems that reduce the need for individual employees to ask at all

Who this is for:

  • Employees who've talked themselves out of asking
  • HR and managers who don't want to guess wrong.

Note: This session is offered at no cost in honor of Disability Pride Month. Future Neurodivergent Learning Labs are part of Launchpad for Life's regular paid workshop series.
