Nintendo Switch Labo Exploration

Learning Tour Overview

Attendees will explore and observe how Nintendo Switch Labos can be used in a classroom. Through hands-on exploration, participants will be encouraged to play with the Nintendo Labo Kits and explore the three major Labo categories: Make, Play, Discover. After, attendees will observe students working in groups to complete their Nintendo Switch Labo PBL assignments. 

Agenda:

9:30-10:10 Tori will give an overview of the Nintendo Switch Labo program. Attendees will have time to explore the Labo Kits. 
10:10-11:00 Attendees will observe students using the Labos and can ask questions/work with the students. This class is likely to be grade 5 students using the Toy-Con 2 Robot Kit.
11:00-11:30 Attendees will observe students using the Labos and can ask questions/work with the students. This class is likely to be grade 6 students using the Toy-Con 3 Vehicle Kit.

Tori Cameron is a STEAM Lab specialist teacher at Gordon W. Mitchell School in East Bridgewater, MA. She received a MassCUE Classroom Grant for her Nintendo Switch Labo program. She was a MassCUE featured educator earlier this year and is an innovator in technology integration and STEAM.
