Google Certified Educator Level 2 Prep

There is an optional, introductory Google Meet for participants who wish to attend. This is not required but is a beneficial way to kick off the learning, meet the instructor and other participants.

The first part of this workshop will consist of two hours of self-paced guided exploration, review and instruction addressing the material covered Google Educator Level 2 exam. Participants will have the opportunity to assess their individual needs and interact with supplied resources of their choice as they fine tune the skills and knowledge they will need to prepare for the Level 2 exam.

In the second part of the workshop, participants will then engage in a one hour session with fellow participants and the instructor. During the one hour live session, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss concerns with the instructor and other participants.

Kimberly McCorkle

photo Kim McCorkleKimberly McCorkle is originally from New Hampshire. She is  the Technology Integration Manager at Keith Middle School in New Bedford, MA. Prior to returning to New England from Texas, she was a 6th grade teacher in a middle school in Southeastern Texas where she taught for 12 years. During that time, she taught Math, Social Studies and Science. She received a Chromecart for her classroom in the fall of 2012 and has been enthusiastically using technology in her classroom ever since. She has presented numerous times at the Texas Google Summit, and TCCA Conference in Aldine, TX and participated in the Google Lesson Plan Jam at Google headquarters in Austin, TX. She is a Level 1 and Level 2 Google Certified Educator. It is her passion to help other educators effectively use technology in the classroom!

The (2) sessions are approximately 60 min. of independent, self-paced preparation using guidance and resources provided by the instructor

Required Wrap-up Meet: Thursday, February 10, 2022 – 3:30 pm1 hr. live session with the instructor and other participants
