Attendees will learn the fundamentals of building a dashboard with Data Studio, gain tips for storing and querying data in BigQuery, and see examples of how schools have leveraged these tools to identify student learning loss, monitor student engagement, disaggregate survey results, report on COVID cases, and much more.

Laura has worked for the past 20+ years supporting school districts as they use technology and data to improve teaching and learning. She served as the Director of District Data and Accountability for the Marshfield Public Schools (MA) and as the regional Data Specialist for Southeast Massachusetts. As the K-12 Data Analytics Specialist at Five Star, she leverages tools such as Data Studio to help tell a story and make data more accessible for everyone.
