Telling Stories with Technology – Digital Storytelling for Elementary Educators

Teachers will learn how to create digital stories using various tools that can be infused across many curricular areas. The goal in using digital storytelling in the classroom is to allow students access to tools that will help them along their 21st century educational journey. Some digital storytelling tools we will cover include Voicethread, Canva, Little Bird Tales, StorybirdStoryjumper and iMovie. Participants will choose one of the tools we explore and create a project plan for how to implement digital storytelling into their grade level curriculum.
