
The MassCUE Awards & Recognition Committee oversees awards and recognition handed out by the Board. Members review and make recommendations to the Board for recipient(s) under the guidance of the committee chair. The committee recommends candidates for the Pathfinder Award, Administrator Award and Shelley Chamberlain Community Service Award.

These prestigious awards are presented each year at the MassCUE Fall Conference at Gillette Stadium.

PRESIDENT, ELECTED, 2025-2026Tracy is the Director of Humanities K-12 for the Newton Public Schools.
Tracy is a past member of the MassCue Board of Directors and has been presenting at the annual conference since 2012. She has also presented for EdTech Teacher, Massachusetts Teachers Association, Learn Launch and several school districts in the region.
Prior to her role in district leadership, Tracy was the Assistant Principal at Dover-Sherborn Middle School for three years after nearly 20 years as a classroom teacher. Tracy Sockalosky
PRESIDENT, ELECTED, 2025-2026Tracy is the Director of Humanities K-12 for the Newton Public Schools.
Tracy is a past member of the MassCue Board of Directors and has been presenting at the annual conference since 2012. She has also presented for EdTech Teacher, Massachusetts Teachers Association, Learn Launch and several school districts in the region.
Prior to her role in district leadership, Tracy was the Assistant Principal at Dover-Sherborn Middle School for three years after nearly 20 years as a classroom teacher. She was a Social Studies teacher and Instructional Technology specialist with the Natick Public Schools for 11 years (2011-2022) and at the Carroll School in Lincoln for the ten years prior to that (2001-2011). She is also a United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Teacher Fellow and USC Shoah Foundation Teacher Innovator.
Tracy holds a Master of Education in Organizational Leadership from Endicott College, a Master of Education in Mind, Brain and Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and an undergraduate degree in History and History of Art from the University of Michigan.

MassCUE Awards

MassCUE’s Administrator Award is presented to a Massachusetts Administrator in recognition for visionary leadership in the field of educational technology. The Administrator’s efforts have gone “above and beyond” in providing inspiration to other administrators and educators.

MassCUE’s Pathfinder Award is presented to a Massachusetts Educator and leader whose efforts have enhanced the field of educational technology. This person has gone “above and beyond” in demonstrating leadership and providing inspiration to other educators.

The Shelley Chamberlain Community Service Award is awarded annually at the MassCUE Fall Conference by the MassCUE Board of Directors to a deserving member of the MassCUE Community who has exemplified the qualities of servant leadership in their school, organizational community, or MassCUE. These qualities include:
- Strong interpersonal leadership skills
- An emphasis on “the other” rather than “self”
- The ability to articulate and develop a strong vision to support a school/community
- Clear evidence of an impact the work of the leader has had on the school/community
