Second Life and Education: Expanding Your Learning

What is Second Life? It is a communication tool, a social networking site, a presentation medium, and place for collaboration. Technically speaking, it is a MUVE (MUVE is a multi-user virtual environment). Second Life is also a great way to expand your personal learning network. Many educators and educational institutions are entering Second Life. Come and explore the Second Life educational landscape and learn how to share and collaborate with educators for around the country and around the world.
