"The Massachusetts Data Warehousing Initiative"

The Educational Data Warehouse project is a pilot project intended to explore the feasibility of offering a single, statewide data warehousing and reporting system to the Commonwealth's public districts and schools. Its long-term goal is to provide every district and school with the ability to easily query and analyze their organization's state-maintained data (SIMS, MCAS, MEPA, and eventually Educator data), and to provide districts with the
option to load and analyze their own data. The Department has partnered with Cognos Corporation to implement the project. Please join us to learn about its capabilities, when districts will have an opportunity to participate, and the steps that districts should take to prepare.
