The mission of the Digital Media Special Interest Group of the MassCUE is to provide an opportunity and meeting place for educators to learn and to share information concerning the teaching of Digital Media to our students. Topics in the scope of Digital Media include digital still photography and cameras, using photo altering software such as Photoshop Elements and iPhoto, creating and using digital sound and music, digital video cameras, digital videography, movie editing with software such as iMovie, and digital storytelling. Our goal is to guide our students to use digital media effectively to express their ideas and present information in an informative and interesting manner.
We feature guests speaking on digital media topics such as digital storytelling, digital still cameras and video cameras, and digital media software. Our group meets approximately every other month.
