See How They Do It: Active Use Computing and STEAM at the Banneker School

Get a first hand, in-person look at how one of the oldest and top performing charter schools in the state is creating exciting and stimulating learning opportunities for their students. Visit the Benjamin Banneker Charter Public school in Cambridge, MA to observe their STEM Block, STEAMS Expo, Digital Learning Studio, Maker Space, and Innovation Lab. 

 Participants will walk away with new ideas about their use of time, materials, and space. Learn about the importance of having the students actively use these resources to produce and share with their community. Topics will include Global Connections, Engineering, Makerspaces, Digital Literacy, and Robotics/Coding. Cost for attending event is complimentary for MassCUE members.
