Leadership in Blended & Digital Learning (LBDL) Program

Leadership in Blended Learning & Digital Learning: Building Principal Capacity

Leadership in Blended Learning is a facilitated six-module blended course with online and face-to-face components designed to prepare school leaders to plan and implement blended learning in their schools. Key questions that will be addressed include: What is blended learning? What are the goals of a blended learning transition in my school? How do I establish a culture for blended learning in my school? What supports do teachers need to transition to blended learning? What systems need to be in place for a successful blended learning transition? How do I plan for sustainability of the blended learning initiatives? These questions and more are explored through online readings, on and off-line activities, online and face-to-face discussions, group activities, presentations, multi-media explorations, video interviews with principals implementing blended learning, and hands-on experience with technology tools used in blended learning. Throughout the course, participants work on a Blended Learning Implementation Road Map which will serve as a final product and help participants plan and implement the transition to blended learning in their schools. For more information about this course program go to: blendinmass.org

All six face-to-face sessions meet from 8 AM – 3:30 PM. The location is to be determined for all face-to-face sessions once participants are selected in order to find a central and cost effective location.
