Stock Market Math Jeanne Follett, Eighth Grade Math & Science Teacher, Friedman Middle School, Taunton Learn how to integrate technology, math, and the Big6 into a standards-based unit on the stock market. Specific suggestions will be made on how to adapt the unit for use in an inclusion classroom. Participants will receive a packet containing copies of worksheets, handouts, and links to resources on teaching the stock market. Student samples will be on display during the presentation. The only pre-requisite for the workshop is a desire to help students make a real world connection with math using technology, and a willingness to “risk” learning along with them. No previous knowledge of the stock market is necessary.
