Preregistration Has Closed

To register for the conference, bring your purchase order, check, or credit card and register on site on Wednesday or Thursday. PRICE IS $300/DAY (MEMBERS AND NONMEMBERS). Preregistration price ended November 5.

Tech Coordinators' Workshops
Series of workshops in Southbridge room planned by Tech Coordinators for Tech Coordinators. "What You Really Need to Know Before Putting Video Over IP," "Spyware, Viruses, Safe & Ethical Use of Email and Web," "Internet2 in Education," "Virtual E$ducation Space Update," "E-Rate: A District Perspective Roundtable," "One to One Computing," "District Web Management Roundtable."

Wireless Access
Hotel has new wireless system in guest rooms. Your laptop must have wireless card installed.

MassCUE Blog
Walter McKenzie will present two workshops on blogging, and he will launch the MassCUE blog.

Flash Drive for Each Conference Attendee
Each person who registers for the MassCUE conference will receive a SanDisk Cruzer Mini 128 MB USB flash drive with a lanyard.

Cue Central ... e-mail stations
This year CUE Central will be located in the Executive Rooms. Computers will be available for participants to check their email or use the Internet. Also, any electronic handouts that presenters have provided prior to the conference will be available on the computers in CUE Central for attendees to copy on their flash drives to take home.

Wireless Access
Hotel has new wireless system in guest rooms. Your laptop must have wireless card installed.

Drawings
Many exhibitors will provide prizes for hourly drawings each day. (See donors.) Visit CUE Central to see whose names have been drawn.

Keynote Speakers Will Present More...
In addition to their keynote speeches, Kenneth Jones (Wednesday) and Jennifer Corriero (Thursday) will present two workshop sessions.

Kathy Schrock Will Present
Kathy Schrock, well known educator and web site author, will present on Wednesday afternoon.

Courtyard Demonstrations
Demonstrations and hands-on presentations will be held throughout the day in the Courtyard presentation rooms by: Kurzweil Educational Systems, Scholastic, Microsoft, Pearson Digital Education, Merrimack Education Center, and TENCorp.

Eileen Barnett - Hands-on Software Workshop
Eileen Barnett will hold her software workshops in the Oxford Room using Macintosh computers provided by Apple Computer. Space is limited.

PALM Strand
As a follow-up to our 2003 Palm conference, most sessions contain a handheld-oriented workshop.

Technology Coordinators’ Strand
Look for a special strand of workshops for Technology Coordinators.

NCLB Title IID, Grant Recipients Showcase
Throughout the conference, in the Sturbridge Room, 2004-2006 NCLB Title IID, Technology Enhancement Competitive Grant Recipients will be showcasing their projects.

Book Sales - The Printing Press: Each Day, 9:30-12:30
Books still have their place, and the Massachusetts Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (MASCD) has selected the best books on technology, teaching, and learning to be available for sale from 9:30-12:30 in the bar in the Ballroom Foyer. Pay by cash, check, credit card, or authorize MASCD to bill your district. Do not be without these valuable resources in your school and personal library.

Pathfinder Dinner Reception
You are invited to join us for the Pathfinder dinner reception at 5:30 on Wednesday night. Dinner fee is $25. Choices for dinner are: Roast Salmon, New York Sirloin, or Chicken Cordon Bleu. Order your dinner ticket when you register for the conference.

Parking Alert
Don't be late for your first session.
If the Sturbridge Host lot is full, don't park in the lots of any of the businesses that are adjacent to the Host. Your car will be towed. When the Host parking lot is filled, you will be directed to a satellite parking lot 2 miles away. Beginning before 8 AM, there will be shuttle buses to drive you from the satellite parking to the Host and back again when you're ready to leave.
