Middle and high schools are actively engaged in online learning ranging from teacher-developed Web sites to online course enhancements. Come join the exciting world of online learning in Massachusetts middle and high schools.
This SIG meets online four times each year. No travel, no fixed schedules. Each meeting is facilitated online and focuses on a specific project presented by a Massachusetts teacher using a teacher-developed Web site or an online course enhancement on Blackboard, First Class, VES, etc. Each project is presented by way of a paper, PowerPoint presentation or Web site and is included in a Blackboard site. A threaded discussion board forum is provided for in-depth discussion of each project. Participants may interact with colleagues over a one-week period without having to schedule a specific meeting time. Learn online tools in much the same was as students do.
