FREE to MASSCUE and NEISTE members! Familiarize yourself with Microsoft’s SharePoint 3.0 Portal Solution during this two day session and plan your roadmap for a great deployment!
Meet leaders from several school communities who have successfully increased collaboration and improved work flow by designing and deploying SharePoint sites across their districts. We’ll be sharing success stories from implementations at the classroom, school and district level. Participants will have hands-on time to design sites using “out-of-the-box” webparts as well as customizing their own lists.
Highlights of our session:
• John Holland, Director of Technology, Timberlane Regional School District will share his vision and continuing story of SharePoint as a solution for his regional district.
• Colleen Cannon-Ruffo, Technology Integration Specialist, from the Naperville School District (suburb of Chicago) will share stories of collaboration across her school community as they move towards the next generation of SharePoint.
• Nicole Tomaselli, Technology Integration Specialist, Nashua School District, will share classroom and extracurricular implementation models from Nashua High Schools. She will highlight incorporating Web 2.0 technologies in SharePoint to engage your students.
• Dave Lundeen, Insight Technologies, will provide all the licensing and pricing information you need for intranet, internet and extranet SharePoint deployments.
• Hands On time to implement what you learn and create your own templates to bring your vision to life.
• You’ll leave with the skills you’ll need to get started using SharePoint in your school community!
