Description of what will be covered:
This workshop is designed for the new user. (You need to have a MassONE account in place when you arrive.) You will be introduced to the features of MassONE and begin to see how you can use its resources in the coming year. We will update your profile. We will explore “My Folder” and VHD (Virtual Hard Drive). We will learn about Workgroups and how they work. Other features we will look at will include Forums, Surveys, and the Calendar. We will see what is available in TLR (Teaching and Learning Resources) and Curriculum Tools. And then finally you should all take the TSAT (Technology Self Assessment Test).
What will participants will take away with them from participating:
Participants will be able to use MassONE and its tools. I am hopeful that participants will brainstorm ways that they feel this online tool can be helpful and see its value. Handouts with step by step directions will be provided for those attending.
Any materials attendees need to bring with them: All attendees need to have a MassONE account created for them by the MassONE Administrator in their district. If you are not in a district I will be able to create an account for you before hand. Please make sure you e-mail me: your name, DOB, and e-mail address. I will use a Norwell school as your school code. My e-mail is eskin@norwellschools.org You should bring some documents in digital form so you can have something to upload to the VHD (Virtual Hard Drive).
Refreshments provided:
Coffee (Regular and Decaf), and Breakfast pastries
