Workshop 4 : "MassONE User Training"

Prerequiste: Participants must be registered for MassOne and know their Username and Password.

Time (starting and ending): Morning session – 8:30-12:30, Lunch 12:30-1:30, Afternoon optional session 1:30-3:30

Directions: Downtown Campus - 270 Main Street, Greenfield
Conveniently located on Main Street, in downtown Greenfield. Take exit 26 off I-91 and follow the traffic rotary to Route 2A east toward downtown. Public parking is available at School and Ames Streets and between Chapman and Davis Streets.

The afternoon portion of the workshop would allow participants to explore individual needs as stated above and practice access to the various tools of MassONE.

PDPs: To receive PDPs for the workshop, participants would need to demonstrate that they had used the tools by uploading to the VHD the individual results of the TSAT, a summary of the results of a brief curriculum topic search using the Teaching and Learning Resources, and an existing lesson plan uploaded to the participant’s individual lesson plan area.

What will participants will take away with them from participating: The participants will be able to use the MassONE online tools successfully in their districts with students and/or colleagues. The following are the optional activities to receive PDPS. The participants will use the TSAT to evaluate their own technology skills. The participants will use the Teaching and Learning Resources to create a curriculum resource bibliography. Participants will have a lesson plan to upload to the individual lesson plan area.

Any materials attendees need to bring with them: Participants may wish to bring a lesson plan in electronic form to upload to the lesson plan tool.

Refreshments provided: Morning coffee and bagels, water, soda, and light lunch for participants completing afternoon session.

Refreshments attendees can bring: Whatever they may wish.
