The MESPA Instructional Technology Teacher Masters/Certification Program is designed to assist teachers and other educators to earn an Initial license as an Instructional Technology Teacher, while optionally earning a Master of Education degree from Northeastern University. For students electing to participate in the Licensure strand only - the program has been designed to run one weekend a month during the school year and nine days during the first summer. A 300 hour school-based practicum is part of the first year’s program. For students electing to participate in the Licensure and Master’s strand - students participate in the licensure strand followed by one week during the second summer, and once or twice monthly through the Fall and Winter. All classes during the first year are held at MESPA’s state of the art conference facility in Marlborough, Massachusetts (www.mespa.org). The next cohort is scheduled to begin in July, 2009.
